It happens occasionally to me, too. I’ve found something of a work-around, though:
Click the “As Imagined by Others” link at the top, then click the most recent accessible comic on the little calendar block. That usually makes the current comic show up on the calendar block – you should be able to open it from there.

That’s a recurring problem for some viewers.It appears to be temporary. Resolving it is beyond me. I am sorry.
